San Francisco Releases Lee Jung-hoo's Welcome Video
Major League Baseball MLB San Francisco Giants released a video on the 8th welcoming newly recruited outfielder Lee Jung-hoo 25.
San Francisco posted a video on its official YouTube showing Lee Jung-hoo visiting Oracle Park, his home stadium, on the day of his joining ceremony.
The video also showed coach Bob Melvin and Lee Jung-hoo talking on the phone, who could not attend the joining ceremony.
"Lee Jung-hoo is the player I was looking for," Melvin said. "I've heard a lot from Kim Ha-sung," Lee said. "I'm just waiting for the day I play."
When he said, "I will become Melvin's favorite player," coach Melvin replied, "I'm already such a player."
Melvin coached Kim Ha-sung as the San Diego Padres coach for the past two seasons.
In the beginning of the video, Lee Jung-hoo said, "I wanted to live in a port city like this. It's a great honor to be lucky to join a team with a long history."
His father Lee Jong-beom, former coach of the LG Twins, and his mother Jeong Yeon-hee also appeared in the video.
Jeong introduced his son, saying, "I was introverted when Lee Jung-hoo was young, but I think my personality has changed as my dreams have grown since middle school."
Former coach Lee also cheered, saying, "I overcame the burden of having a legendary father and entered the Major League," adding, "I have better mentality and mind than myself, so if I try, I will be successful enough." 토토사이트
"I'm looking forward to seeing Chung-hoo play here," Lee said while touring the San Francisco home stadium, adding, "I hope he will adapt well and give joy to San Francisco fans."
